Just found your site. Wanted to let you know I think you’re a gonzo writer. I’m impressed. I was diagnosed in 1998. I was already in my 60s. I don’t know if that’s why I’m relatively unscathed by the disease. Since then I’ve had a bout with cancer and was diagnosed with RA. I blame it all on my DNA! Keep writing and we’ll keep writing. Thank you for this blog.

Meg,
I am so glad you found me!You definitely speak my language. Most times I forget the diagnosis. Not sure I have even blogged about it but I went through hell with my husband and in dealing with people/professionals/ the system at the end of a conversation or whatever, I might be “Oh yeah, I have been diagnosed with MS”. I totally forget when I am sitting down and even my doctor says sometimes a fall is just a fall.

As for looking forward to the next one…I am too! Often times when I sit down to write, it just seems to spew out of me and I don’t even REMEMBER what I wrote. Which means that I am finding that I enjoy going back and reading older posts. Always prompts the thought….”HOLY SHIT! I wrote that?!?!?!” 🙂 THIS is what it is like to live in MY world and in MY mind:) hehe
