In reply to <a href="/ms-cannabis-edibles-fishing-writing-oh-my/#comment-138005">Brian Epstein</a>.

Hey Brian! That really depends on a bunch of variables - I have made it on a 6 mile hike - a few months ago, but that took a lot of training. Daily I walk between 2 and 4 miles depending on my legs (and these days - time, since I'm kinda getting busy:) On my walks I can only go a block two and then I need to stop and stretch my muscles - because the pain jumps off the charts with exercise and stretching helps alleviate some of the pain but also distracts my mind from the pain so that I can then keep walking. I don't need to stretch for long but I do need to do it often. Which is why I often joke that I must look like a loon to the neighbors - imagine 4 miles of walk a block or two stop stretch in all sorts of weird and strange ways - walk a block or two, stop and stretch again...:) BUT it is what it takes these days for me to walk - so I'll continue to look like a crazy lady until we move up North where I can do my walking and stretching with nature watching, not neighbors:)

XOXO!

I am and have always been the queen of distraction - just ask my children:)

I am so happy that you are on a similar journey Jan! Someday hopefully our paths will cross!

Cheers!
