Good for you drawing the line. Lines are needed – walls are needed – huge fences are sometimes even required:) I was “fortunate” enough to have “lost” my former mother-in-law in the divorce:) One of many perks to finally standing up and finding myself again and going after happiness:)

Pretty sure that she doesn’t miss me but then again I am not sure she would be happy with anyone. She is just not a nice person:)

So glad you stopped by and hope you will continue reading! Maybe once your mother’s move is over you can get back to blogging too. I was silent for a number of months while I got my house all ready to put it on the market, sell and then move all of us and all our shit. Once I got everything unpacked and organized I finally found time to get back at it:)

It is a “problem” that many of us bloggers have. KNOWING who might read our words and making the decisions on how much we put out there. Certainly there are many that choose to go with anonymity, to allow some bit of privacy for themselves and family and friends. When I started this blog, I DID consider this option, but it seemed counter intuitive, as I WANTED to put myself out there and let others know that there is a REAL LIVE person, willing to talk about things others may not feel comfortable disclosing and that I am NOT ashamed or embarrassed about all the “crap” that happens because of a stupid disease we don’t have control over. BUT that isn’t always fair for those in my life that DIDN’T choose to write a blog and open up their lives for the world to see and judge. It is for THOSE people that I may sometimes choose to withhold SOME information, as they deserve their right for privacy, but for me, I chose to give it up:)

Also, I really wish I could vent about how my family effects my MS but unfortunately my Mom’s school has my website and if I even MENTION the word family I am bombarded by texts and calls from my parents about how “THEY see your website”. So I have to keep it all inside… My largest sorce of stress… Ugh…

But that’s the thing…NO more crankiness – AND no more mother-in-law. The perks of divorce!:)

haha – yep, I’m fondly (??) referred to at work as the CCL (crazy cat lady). I swear: no more than three. My husband will surely divorce me if I even suggest another.

Not sure why I’ve been feeling so good, but I’ll take it. As we all know, MS will kick your ass with no warning, so it’s best to enjoy the good times while they last.

YES, just had a visit. You my dear, sound as if you are heading in the direction of my brother and most amazing sister-in-law. We call them the crazy cat people. I am NOT completely sure what the count is these days as I think there has been a death or two this past year, but also they self proclaimed themselves the saviors Portland feral cats (there even was one that had a fund set up to try and off-set the expense of a needed blood transfusion????) BUT…the last time Shawn and I were down visiting, they had NINE cats living with them! Let me just say, according to some “official” calculation of the appropriate ratio of litter boxes to cats….that is a BUTT LOAD of litter boxes, all lined up in the hallways, both up and down:) Don’t get me wrong, cats are OK, even cute sometimes, but I truly can NOT imagine living with NINE of them, they seemed to be EVERYWHERE!:) Even on my head as I tried to sleep, a pretty annoying little habit one of them has:)
SO happy to hear that you have been flair free! Like many of us, WHO knows what has caused this GREAT feat – but keep up the good work lady!:)

Hi Ms CrankyPants! It’s been WAY too long! And of course, I LIVE to entertain:) Pretty sure that at the time, in that moment, I was NOT thinking about entertaining ANYONE, but rather JUST getting back inside and DRY!:) Actually this is just a part of the chapter I wrote in my book. The ending is the part that brings tears to my eyes. Piper brings me a plate of food in bed and we curl up and watch “chick flicks” for the rest of the night…AAAHHHH, my angels!:)
